The Thicket Severen Crucifiend Mandibula
Most prominent of the Las Vegas casinos was the Galactic Stockings Palace, owned by the charismatic Ryo Akiyama. The Japanese-born entrepreneur often told the press that he owed all his success to the good fortune of "Lucky," his orange tabby cat with the bizarre trait of two tails. But Akiyama's refusal to sell out to the crime bosses of Los Diablos would lead to his downfall. One midnight, a shootout occurred at the Galactic Stockings, and a stray bullet hit Lucky. The angered cat took its true form- a three-faced evil spirit that tore both mobsters and the stunned Akiyama to ribbons. On the news, Akiyama's sobbing mother surmised that Lucky was actually a bakemono, or "goblin cat", which must have mentally manipulated her son from Day One, and used the casino to reap vast wealth for itself and throw the country into mass economic upheaval. Whatever his scheme, worldwide chaos is certainly imminent should King Bakemono claw its way out of the Giant BLUUUUUUDD Pit... King Bakemono is just one of many playable Slashers from Gil Merritt's AMPUTHEATRE.
